I would like to request to add a read/writeable property to lua/technology to keep track of the amount of research completed for an item.

• this would add the ability to switch research without losing all progress
• nifty scenario or game-play ideas would be to remove a portion of research from when a certain event occurs such as a lab is destroyed or other scenario-type of event, causing you to have to top-off the research to re-activate access or to add research completed as a bonus

ugh, i didn't realize there were technology-related values outside of lua/technology in the wiki.
