i havent played since 11.10.. . decided to play a game recently, knowing the new things added, i startd a first game "peace mode" all fine, love the rocket silo
then i wanted to play a "normal" game, bitters can attack me.. but.. didnt even get time to build my first power line, i get attacked. about 5-6 bitters.. few minutes after, second wave arrived, twice the number, then get killed extra fast.
my question is, since 0.11, why are they attacking so early? before , i had fair enough time before the very first attack, enough time to start few research and put few turret if you build fast and properly.
i want a fun game, with challenge, yes, but, not a headache!... or did the devs plan to add a difficulty feature?

Make your starting area bigger.

How many Trees are in your starting area? It's my impression that in a12, pollution spreads very fast in a Tree-less desert area, but spreads much more slowly in a heavily forested area.

Start with a big area and you should be more the fine. Also a tree starting area as well. I like to normally start in the opposite and be in a desert where pollution spreads more.

it was the larger starting area, lot of tree's.. i havent really much drill or furnace.. pollution was still extrem low
