I could replicate your error by changing one byte in the middle of the setup file, so I think your downloaded file is corrupted.
Try to redownload the file or use the in-game updater to update to 0.12.8.

Redownloaded the installer, worked this time.

I will redo this if it happens again, when I will dl the next updates.
