So I just bought the game and used the Factorio upgrade code on my portable. Everything works great. But...

When I get home and try to download to play on my home pc, it says that upgrade code is no longer valid. Do you need to purchase a version for each machine, I use Windows, Mac, and Linux machines depending where I am and what I am doing, I hope I do not need multiple upgrade codes ?

You only need to enter the upgrade code once, which I guess you received by e-mail.
After that, your account is upgraded and you can download the game on any machine.
