Hello, I'd like to be able to make a scenario mod and play it in mutliplayer but currently unless I'm mistaken there's no way to start a custom scenario other than Freeplay in multiplayer.

Yes, this needs to be added. I always create a custom scenario in multiplayer to add in one of the resources that always isn't there. I then open it is a single player world, save it as a save, and then open the save as a MP world.

There is a command line option: --map2scenario

(in edit mode, cause the wiki is currently broken, so you see only a white page without)

A bit cumbersome, yes.
I would vote for making this process easier.

--map2scenario turns an existing save game into a scenario which can then be started as a singlelpayer game, that won't help here. This feature request is about being able to directly start an existing custom scenario in multiplayer, without having to do the save in singleplayer/load in multiplayer thing.

As I said, a bit cumbersome.

Yes, --map2scenario is cumbersome because it involves using the command line. So, "Add a 'Create scenario' button to the load game dialog" would make for a fine separate feature request. But this request here is about "Add a 'Start custom scenario' button to the multiplayer menu".

Well the main reason I wanted this is so I can define custom scenario params (Ala the Freeplay or Sandbox paramaters) without having to edit the base files. I'm not actually trying to load a map in progress, so that command doesn't help me.
