[0.7.4] Exploring the map - fps goes down

Hello,
i have a map with (i think) 10.000 x 6.000 fields.
I explore the map with a car arround my base (to the borders of the map). At the end of the map in the west - i turn back and the fps goes down.
I think the biters that follow me are the problem.
Savegame (on mystore.to and filestore.to - without registering -> 22 MB):

Thank you
Tom

Thanks for the saves. That is a REALLY big map:) Most of the time is actually taken by the game updates. Namely enemy spawners, units (following you) and turrets. We will make some optimizations for the 0.8 to solve these (things like switching off inactive parts of the map).

Hello, the problem is partially solved.
Enemy spawners that are fully healed and with full spawn without anyone (player, enemy) around are not updated anymore.
Enemy spawner update has been optimised a lot.
The next step will be to deactivate turrets with no enemies around, we won't have time to do it now, but we will do it next release.
I have halved the update time (doubled the fps) in the update you provided, so it is partially a upgrade, so I move this topic to solved in next release.
