Timed Peaceful Mode

I know it's possible to use the console commands, so that you can start the game with Peaceful Mode on and then when you think the time is right you can use the console to turn Peaceful off.

The problem with that is discipline. When is the time right? Whether in an SP or coop MP game, there's always the strong temptation to postpone that moment a little longer, maybe half an hour... just 10 more minutes...

What if, instead, there was a series of mods, identical apart from their crucial numerical value effect, that do one thing and one thing only, which is to turn Peaceful Mode off at a time dependent on which exact mod was chosen? One mod for 1 hour, one for 1.5, one for 2, one for 3, one for 4, one for 6 and one for 9.

In theory, using such a mod is no different from making up one's mind as to how long one wants Peaceful Mode to last, and then using the console command to make it so when Peaceful Mode has lasted as long as one initially decided it ought to.

In practice, though, it's very different. Using a mod to "pre-program" this event is like lighting a fuse. You can snuff out the fuse, before it hits the gunpowder, but it's a lot of trouble. You're much more likely to grit your teeth and try to get your ass in gear and set up your defences before the attack you know will come.
