Crashes when loading M.P. world and jams my internet

Every time I try to connect to a multiplayer world the world loads to a certain point then the game crashes. (It freezes and I have to end task) When it does this it takes out my internet. (can't even DNS resolve google). Yet the network usage stats say there is traffic, which might mean the crash causes the game/server to packet spam me. (I have peer-to-peer off) It rarely if ever did this before 12.4.

EDIT: I looked at the logs and it says this repeatedly: Info TransferTarget.cpp:242: Received transfer block [random #s] that we didn't request from peer 0
