I should probably ask the question first, but if there isn't it's a suggestion

Can you lock an item (ie: conveyor level 1) to a slot?
It would be nice to reduce the clicking and to have the particular slots and hotkeys reserved for particular items. It would reduce the amount of mouse movement if I could guarantee that my toolbelt hotkeys were specific items.

It could have a tiny yellow lock against it if locked and if your inventory is out of a particular item then a transparent placeholder. New items that were picked up could not enter a locked slot.

Just an idea...

You should go through the tips and tricks (this is mentioned there as well).

While on the subject you should add ability to remove such lock for slots.
Or is this also implemented but I just didn't figured out how to do it.
