Factorio's performance is really impressive

I just want to say how impressed I am with Factorio's performance. I've played nearly a complete playthrough (no rocket silo, though I have the infrastructure in place to do it easily), and I have not encountered a single hiccup--it's been a steady 60fps from start to finish. That's with thousands of entities all constantly doing their thing, and on a computer that was midrange when I built it over two years ago (AMD FX6300, Radeon HD 7870).

Thanks to the 0.12 update performance has improved a lot

Yes, the performance is nice. Over 2000 logistic and construction robots, a big factory and even 3x3 supersampling and I still have 60 FPS without problems.
