[Request] Road layer

Like the FARL, but for brick and concrete tiles.
I'm thinking of something like the car or the tank, perhaps with a larger footprint and fuel consumption, together with a larger inventory (like a truck), which you can drive around and lay brick/concrete tiles. The large inventory is required for storing all of the bricks/concrete slabs, and for putting back cut down trees (although you can place tiles under trees, you don't want your road to be covered by trees!).
This will also allow you to lay roads faster, as this machine will have faster movement speed than normal walking.

Some nice-to-have features:
  • Control road size / diameter.
  • Place big/medium poles with/without lamps
Edit: Here's a video for inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkVBg_-OviI
Of course, it would have to be much faster :)

Just FYI you can change the brush size in vanilla Factorio by pressing +/- on your keypad.

How about Fully Automated Road Layer ? :-)
I'm tempted, even if it's only to see how much code of FARL I can reuse, which should be a lot.

I've worked on something similar for the next iteration of Roadworks, though it's more like a standard vehicle with GUI and less automated than FARL is.

Did anybody actually make something like that? Does RoadWorks contain such an entity?
