Hello fellow human, (hopefully not a biter)

First i'd like to say i'm fairly new to the game and have yet to "beat" the game but am rather far. I have a few questions that I would love answered.

1. Is there a mod for an in game clock for 0.12 if so how do I use mods?

2. How can i easily estimate inputs for assembly machines and chemical plants etc. (bad at maths)

3. how many smelters are needed per electric drill? and how many smelters (max) can load onto a regular transport belt.

4. how can I find this stuff on my own.. I've been on several forums but I can't seem to find the stuff I need on this one :'(

LOVE LOVE LOVE the game can't wait for steam release so my friend will play :D

2. Check the item's crafting time, divide it by the manufacturing speed of assembler (or smelting speed of furnace) This is the amount of seconds it takes to craft the item. Divide 60 by that number and you get production per minute.
3. 2 stone or 1 electric.
4. You might try Wiki https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... =Main_Page Iit might not have everything, but that's still better than nothing.

A very important tip - do NOT move copper wires through belts when crafting green circuits. Set up your factories so the assembler crafting wires will transfer it's production directly to one producing circuits. The optimal ratio is 2 assemblers producing green circuits per three assemblers producing wires.

1. That mod has game time & time played, not sure if you meant your actual real time.

2. Spreadsheets are a huge help. If you don't want to mess with figuring it out, you can watch some youtube let's play videos as most will go over ratios & build designs that you can use.

3. A drill without modules is 1 drill to 2 stone furnaces, 1 drill to 1 steel furnace, and 1 drill to 1 electric(without modules)

4. Watch Let's Plays on youtube & tutorials. Searching the forums for items you want to make can reveal others talking about them, but I think youtube videos are easier sources even if they're not organized or easy to find specific ones.

Your friend doesn't need to wait. Steam keys will be provided once the steam release is done so they won't have to worry about getting it on steam. Probably better to buy it direct so they developers get more of the cost of the game.
