when I try to update to 12.1, I get this error message:
Error when opening C:/ProgramFiles\Factorio\data/../run-tests-x64.bat for reading: No such file or directory.

I tried to look in the data folder and I didn`t see anything out of place, can some one help me?

Sounds like a bug with the updater. The easiest fix is to download it manually. https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental
