I assume there is a key for this but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere (I am probably missing some key search term).

To explain: Say I am placing some belt, when finished I have 30 'in my hand', I want to quickly (without dragging and dropping) return these to my inventory (or tool belt). This seems to me particularly useful when you have filters set up, as it would (I would hope) return them to the proper spot on your tool belt (assuming a filter was setup).

I was tempted to put this in the game suggestions area but since I figure I am just missing the obvious, I wanted to start here.

So if anyone can explain how to do this... or confirm that it is not currently a feature, I would greatly appreciate it.

Never considered 'next weapon' as a possible contender.

Actually there are two bindings for Q, "next weapon" is just one of them. And personally, I find that doubling-up to be an extreme nuisance - if I'm throwing grenades or capsules, but want to switch weapons, hitting Q puts away the throwables first, instead. So I rebound "next weapon" to Tab (can't remember what was originally there, but if there was something, I moved it somewhere else). That way I can do both at the same time.

Another change I made was to put 'enter/exit vehicle' on C and 'shoot selected' on Delete. If I need to shoot a crate or tree or rock using something other than a shotgun (which is very rare) I can afford to take the time to reach for the other side of the keyboard, whereas reaching across for Enter can be cumbersome at the best of times, and potentially fatal when trying to catch a moving train!
