latest version he can access is version 11.21 on downloads page and he cant see experimental releases i link him directly to /experimental and it says 403 forbidden error any ideas?

also he is unable to post on this fourm as well even though he is logged in.

as well i noticed that even when logged in his view of the fourms is still grey and yellow and yes he bought the game he is currently the first tier purchase. he has the option to buy the next stage for 5 dollars more etc. his name is zmaster587

also under https://www.factorio.com/settings he is showing as transport belt repair man as membership

another thing is i just got experimental to show on his computer and his browser immediately closes now when clicking on it . with no error message.


(EDIT) i got the linux x64 version 12 on his computer now so new issue after game gets to loading sounds 99% it crashes in linux log viewer with this CRON[31058] (root) CMD (test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.weekly ))
