[2.1.20] Personal construction bots trying to put modules into nonexistent module slots when upgrading via force-paste

1. What did you do?
I was upgrading my Assembling machine 2s with 2 productivity modules inside of them to Assembling machine 3s with 4 productivity modules by copying the machines and force-pasting them (default key combination: Ctrl+C for copy, Ctrl+Shift+Left Click for force paste). At the time I had personal construction bots and productivity modules in my inventory but no available Assembling machine 3s.
2. What happened?
Bots started acting weirdly, namely they started leaving the character and then going back in, to no effect, except that it is impossible to take them out of the inventory anymore.
3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected the bots to do nothing.
4. Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
It happens always.
The video shows the basic setup for this to happen: personal construction bots, two machines, modules, and the forced paste, causing the bots to fly out of the character when they aren't supposed to. Note that the character's inventory has to have the modules for this to happen, as shown. The footage was downscaled to 720p to fit into the file size limits described in the How to report a bug post, but the resolution isn't important here, the video shows the issue clearly.
As for the save files, weirdbots1 shows a small setup with bots already out of the inventory, weidbots2 shows a small setup that just requires the final forced paste, with the blueprint saved ingame and in the cursor at the time of saving.
I've tested this on an earlier version, the current stable version 2.0.77, and this behavior did not appear. This save is just the save I've tested this on.
Log from the video.
