What did you do?
Updated to 2.1.19 yesterday and tried to load my existing save.

What happened?
Factorio crashed to desktop.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
Expected my save to be loaded.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

• Happens every time. Checked and updated mods, still crashes.
  Tried loading earlier saves, still crashes.
  Reverted to 2.1.17 and save would load, but trying to put any equipment in my armor crashes the game too. (likely separate cause)
  Updated back to 2.1.19 and still crashes
  Removed all mods and still crashes.
  Verified install files and still crashes.

It may be attached to this save file. I have successfully loaded other save files.

I have attached the save and log file as well as a screengrab of my mods list.

That save file is corrupt. Updating the game or adding/removing any mods detects the corruption that has happened. The same corruption that crashes when you interact with your power armor equipment.

I’ve seen that kind of corruption before but nobody has ever been able to tell me how to get a know working save into that state, or their system eventually shows failed hardware as the cause.

Isn't a crash-on-load corrupted save potentially exploitable in multiplayer where the server sends each new client a save they could maliciously alter?

No. You have to load the save first before anyone could join it. If you can load it, so can someone joining. Even if you managed to modify the save in memory while it was sent at best the process just crashes when trying to join a game, just don’t join that game.
