TL;DR
Radars with new output signal: Expansion base built nearby = Artillery Trains!
What?
Radars should be able to send signal into the circuit network, that in their coverage area a new expansion base is spotted
Why?
Artillery Trains! It would allow us to build automatic perimeter base defense systems based on artillery trains

. One could activate nearby train station to summon artillery train into the endangered zone from the centralized artillery train depot.

+1. This would also (hopefully) be somewhat a performance saver, since having a lot of arty on perim used to eat ups.

Was just thinking about this but I'm not totally sure how it should work. Is it going to report all nests in the radar area or just new ones? If new ones, how long are they "new" for?
It feels like just the total number of nests is the cleanest/most intuitive implementation, and then you could tie that to artillery train station priority. But you would need to make sure the train covers more range than the radar or it will never clear it.
