[2.1.11] Inconsistent pavement tile "shoreline" edges bordering lava and oil oceans

Preface: Screenshots were taken with version 2.1.9. No settings have been changed since then, and I've verified that these issues remain in version 2.1.11.
Also, baby's first bug report! I stopped guest-lurking and made a forum account for this, so tell me if I did anything wrong/could format something better, but uh... be gentle, please?

Bug Description:
When I first caved to the pressure and upgraded to a 2.1 release—mostly for the inherent joy from watching those sweet new assembler graphics—I ended up checking out the new environmental graphics for the various planets as well. When messing around in editor mode with the fresh look of Foundation tiles, I noted the excellent detail that they showed a change in "depth" as they bordered transitions from deeper oil ocean segments to shallow ones. Of course, you can't call your factory a real base until it has lights and concrete, but when I went to check how Fulgora would look when paved flat and featureless:

I found that pavement tiles do not have the same clever "depth" effect applied to them that the Foundation tiles they rest on do.
Not really some game-breaking issue in the grand scheme of things, but I figured that if you put in the effort to make the Foundation tiles behave like that, you'd want to know if there were inconsistencies with it.

Now curious, I did a similar test on pavement tile behavior on Vulcanus:

While it's not the same issue, I am admittedly bugged by the minor shoreline differences you can see between natural Vulcanus terrain, Foundations, and any pavement tile when they border lava. It almost looks like Foundation tiles are hovering above the lava when next to a natural tile, especially since the natural tile's "shoreline" appears to reach lower than and curl beneath both Foundations and other pavements. At this point, I may just be nitpicking too much, but pavement tiles also appear to hover a smidge higher than nearby Foundations?

If this is all too niche to really be worth focusing on, I absolutely understand, but I couldn't find an existing report about this, so! Made one myself.
...Hopefully it's not too rambling or missing anything essential.
