2.1.10 (build 86940 expansion, win64)

What did you do?

When I place items (inserters or anything), if I am crafting that item by hand in parallel and that, by placing them I go down to 0 items left, then the hand goes into ghost mode but stays even if my item number goes back to 1.
What happened?

It goes into ghost mode but never go back to normal mode if the number of item left is 1 or more after.
What did you expect to happen instead?

Because I have new items, the ghost most "should" deactivate by itself and allow me, once again, to place item normally (instead of clicking Q + Q key).
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

That behaviour always happen but also happened in previous versions.

Not sure if the devs would consider that a bug - it's been that way for as long as I can remember. However, I agree that it is unintuitive and annoying. If I'm placing while simultaneously crafting, I want to carry on building. Instead I have to monitor the count and wait until I have at least 2 before placing.

However however, if I had a ghost selected on purpose then I wouldn't want it to stop being a ghost cursor just because, say, bots delivered some to me.

Solution would have to keep track of the reason why you have a ghost cursor (i.e. remember that you only have ghost cursor because of using the last item).

This was never working as you are suggesting it should and it would be a significant behavior change which would need more thorough decision making than a simple bug report, as such i am going to mark this as Not a bug because you are posting a feature request.
