[2.1.9] Nauvis (all planets?) atmosphere rendering issue

I'm not a graphics guy so I asked what could be going on with this nauvis atmosphere in https://discord.com/channels/1396775903 ... 5573616693 (official factorio #space discord) and someone suggested it might be a floating point error in the shader whatever precisely that means, I thought it could be helpful for investigation on the back end. Thanks in advance if it gets addressed!
