Inconsistency from use of digit grouping

The stat "Products finished" uses digit grouping with spaces, though no other numerical stat anywhere in the game uses digit grouping. For the sake of Factorio's famous consistency, digit grouping should be removed from "Products finished".

Not a bug.

The usage of Spaces rather than Commas or Decimals is recommended by NIST Guide to the SI system (the SI standard itself is in French), so this is not even an American standard to be followed.

Factorio uses Prefix based units in most locations (kW, MW, MJ, etc); so no Digit Groups are required because the scale portion of the unit changes every 3 powers-of-10 rather than adding every digit to the output (eg, the Electric Network graphs).

Where do you see comma or decimal based separation, if anywhere? This seems highly consistent.

That is not true, the science production tooltip also uses digit grouping. See this bug report for proof.

And digit grouping most likely also appears on the kill statistics of turrets.
