in the earlier game we were able to see the flow of pipe lines from were it's coming and where it's going
like this image

but now it's not visible
not sure this is a bug or a missing feature but that feature was really usefull.

It's a side-effect of the revamped fluid 2.0 system which no longer simulates flow. You'll have to live without visible flow direction:

There is no longer a realistic fluid "flow" through pipes
