What selector/menu is this for?
Multiplayer game settings (Server configuration / Client-side option)

What is the core suggestion?
Add a server setting or client toggle to disable the "overkill prevention logic" for player-fired Rocket Launchers. When enabled, enemies should NOT be marked as reserved for death while a rocket is in the air. The target must remain valid and shootable by other players and automated defense systems until it actually dies.

Why is it needed? (Use Cases & Benefits)

1. Preventing Unfair Player Deaths from Target Lock
In multiplayer, the overkill prevention system marks an enemy as dead the moment a fatal rocket is fired. While the rocket flies, the enemy stays alive and keeps attacking. Frontline players cannot shoot back because the target is locked out. Personal Laser Defenses and Laser Turrets also ignore the enemy due to this logic. This leads to unavoidable player deaths because frontline players are often closer to the active enemy than the incoming rocket.

2. The Legendary Weapon and Long Flight Time Problem
With Space Age quality mechanics, players fire high-quality rocket launchers from very far away. The rocket takes a long time to arrive. During this long flight window, the overkill prevention system grants the biter effective immunity against any other weapons, but the biter can still kill players and destroy infrastructure before impact.

3. Improving Multiplayer Team Coordination
On busy servers like mountFortress, this overkill prevention logic causes dozens of issues every day. Experienced players have to constantly ask newcomers not to use rocket launchers. In cooperative multiplayer, saving a player's life and armor is much more important than saving one cheap rocket through automated ammo optimization.

Conclusion:
Overkill prevention works fine in Singleplayer to save ammo, but it ruins Multiplayer combat flow. Adding a server-side setting to disable this target reservation will fix a major mechanical frustration.
