TL;DR
Currently you can't zoom out to see a part of your factory, or more usually a very large space platform, without entering chart view
What?
Either a toggle to exit chart view without adjusting zoom or a setting of a threshold
Why?
It looks nice:) I use mods to achieve it currently, but I just like seeing my big space platforms/city block chunks all at once
If a platform is large enough, it'll even be shown in chart view in the little preview, which sucks

Oh, yes please, I find myself constantly annoyed at being limited by the zoom level when placing large(ish) blueprints. Especially rail BPs, which I have to align to the existing infrastructure by hand. A simple straight rail BP with a single set of rail signals is large enough that it doesn't fit my screen properly, and I have to be careful to position my view perfectly so that I can align it with the existing segment.

It would be good if there was a keybind to force normal view regardless of zoom.
