[2.1.8] personal laser defense in editor mode shoots asteroids

Started a new save in 2.1.8 editor on, cheat all on
created a test platform and started flying. suddenly the personal laser defense of my incorporeal engineer starts shooting asteroids.
when I move to a different plane the lasers stop shooting.
when I move my active view back to the platform it starts shooting again.
It always shoots from the position of my incorporeal editor engineer.
