For me left-click is setup to both drag the remote map view and used by the copy paste tool / blueprint / deconstruction planner / upgrade tool etc. for selection.

In the remote view in 2.0 it would prefer to apply the selected tool should any be selected.
With 2.1. now suddenly the left-click + drag behavior only drags the remote view while ignoring whether one has one of the previously mentioned tools in the hand.

A current work-around would be starting the tool use with shift+dragging and releasing shift to get the regular drag behavior back.

Do you have "build" bound to non-left-click?

Yes I swapped both build and mine. For me build is right click and mine is left click.

This is now fixed for the next release.
