Selecting a recipe with a single click while Quality is researched

TL;DR
Right now it takes either two clicks or a click and a keypress to quickly confirm the recipe choice.
I'm asking for a toggle in the settings to be able to single-click confirm it and choose the quality beforehand if I need it.
What?
As is you need to either double click or click and press a "Confirm window" button for the recipe to be selected quickly, but it could still be a single-click thing if I was expected to choose Quality before clicking a recipe within the same window.
Generally, if I want to use Quality, I will set it before clicking on a recipe, meaning that all the other times I didn't need to do two inputs.

It doesn't need to be a settings toggle, but that would probably work out the best.
It could be that it's the way it is because the current way is more intuitive at first, but over time I'd expect people to want to toggle it to the new way where they could single-click through most of these windows.
Why?
It's a relatively small thing, but makes things just a little easier and removes a some of the UI friction from unlocking the Quality.
It's probably worth noting that it only ever started to annoy me because researching Quality changes the way this window works, adding a click or two depending on whether you're using quality right now or not, but always some.
I don't expect the implementation of this suggestion to be a big problem, but if it is then I will absolutely understand.

Edit. It could also be differentiated by a left or right click. Left being a selection with instant confirm, right being just a selection.

Yes, however I've also suggested a way it could work.
