In April 2025, Kovarex hinted a bunch of new achievements for 2.1, or an achievement for getting all achievements in the same run and/or a 100% run mode.

I agree that this would be very fulfilling for hardcore gamers (or professionals): the one to rule them all.
However, I believe that it would be too challenging for most players (me included):I don't think I would ever be able to complete such run (Lazy bastard for no manual crafting until rocket, Keeping your hands clean for not killing biter nests before artillery, Logistic Network Embargo for no logistic until space science, Express delivery for a 40h game)
I think that a 100% run mode, without the corresponding achievement, would be better, as it wouldn't lock out most players from ever completing 100% of Factorio's achievements.
Counterpoint: after writing this, I realized that lazy bastard stopped after launching a rocket, Logistic Network Embargo stops after space science, so it's not as near-impossible as I thought.
My personal conclusion: It would be doable, but quite a chore for people without much free time. Personally I would prefer a 100% run mode in which all achievements are virtually reset at the start (just in the save file), and earned through playing the run. It would also improve replayability of 100% runs.

1. In the next release, all saves started with version prior 2.0.45 will not have the achievements limited the new way.
2. There is a new popup which tells you which achievements (and why) are going to be disabled if you start with these settings. (In the map generator gui).
3. I still have plan for bunch of new achievements for 2.1, which should make 100% run even more convoluted (=intereseting for most people hopefully), I'm even considering to add a 100% run mode, which would be the way to get one special achievement of you getting all achievements in one go. There are arguments against it, so it is still part of the discussion.
I personally am looking forward the moment, when I add these new acheivement, and will personally try to make the 100% run, the only way to see how hard it is and to make some possible balance changes.
