TL;DR

Quality increases Copper Wire connection range for higher quality Power Switches.

What?

Right now a Legendary Substation cannot make the connection to a Power Switch placed directly between two Legendary Substations when the Power Switch sits half in each Legendary Substations coverage. Currently, Normal Substations can make the connection with the Power Switch directly between two Normal Substations.

Why?

If two Normal Substations can make the connection through a Power Switch, that functionality should not be lost when the Quality of item increases.
I would like to place a Legendary Power Switch between two Legendary Substations and have them connect to toggle my large accumulator back up power grid, without having to use another Substation to reach the Power Switch.

For another point of consistency, both the common power switch and the common medium electric pole have a wire reach of 9.

It would make sense, I think, if the wire reach of a power switch had the same quality scaling as the medium electric pole.

This would satisfy the OP's desire, since the legendary medium electric pole has a reach of 19, more than half of the legendary substation's wire reach of 28.
