World Map Tile-Based Infinite Progression

Let me know what you guys think about this.

A mod where once you have completed a run (or at the start of each run) you choose a location with certain randomized modifiers and random rewards. These rewards are basically Research Bonus rewards that persist between playthroughs, or can be modded buildings that surpass Space Age buildings even. Then at the end of each playthrough you can Prestige/Graduate to the next adjacent tile you choose and carry your rewards forward while dealing with whatever negative modfiers you might have to deal with on your next run.

I have no idea if something like this is possible with the current API implementation but would be curious what the more advanced modders might think.
