4 hour 47 min launch time solo with this map and blueprint 2nd run.

Hi guys,

First post here I just recently started getting into Factorio and first thing i noticed was some of the cheeves. 8 hour launch time specifically.

My first play through without enemies took me over 20 hours to launch my first rocket. Started looking at how to build/faster. The blueprint i created and the map seed included in the post

I did change the defaults to higher resource counts. Still allows you to complete the cheeve.

First time i ran this to lay down a base design(taking my time) I was 5.5 hours into the build and just got done with blue science automation and got attacked for the first time(surprised me because i thought i had set it for no enemy.) I rev'ed up the speed cut production and spent an hour setting down defenses. and was still able to complete the rocket launch in 7 hours 26 min. The next try after optimizing the base build a bit this last play through

as you can see 4 hours 47 min.
This is all solo

The only 2 things not inside the base the water pump which i bring water in from just south east of the base, and fill up the oil field just to the west and underground pipe it in.

the first 2 hours you are playing catchup with the research because its going so fast. After the 3rd hour your waiting for the research to lay down the new buildings so the blueprint will catch the correct orientation and settings.

I specifically built a small mall middle of the map by the resources patches that i used to fast track transport belt, inserter(regular, long, and fast after research), electric drills, labs, and assemblers 1 and 2). I could probably optimize resources a bit more add another iron stack but i didn't start having any issues with 1 stack until near the very end. The only thing that is a continual problem is the need for so many green circuits. I think i did all right with that planning but could add more slightly increase the size of the base but that would require more turrets longer defense belt.

During the 1st run I placed the poor mans wall(just a bunch of stone furnaces all the way around the perimeter.

The enemies after 10 hours of play time never attacked my pumpjack field or my water pump.

In the blueprint you can even see where i left the original burners that you start with.
