This forum and the comments on the mod portal are virtually always mature, intelligent, systems oriented, and focused on maintaining accuracy and honesty. Rarely do I see this community default to pointless posturing, tone policing, or any sort of social justice warrior behavior, and it is intensely refreshing.
Having just witnessed another modding community (which I am not going to name) fail miserably at this, I am reminded of how nice it is over here where people actually care when you post a reasoned explanation instead of just skimming for the first thing they can cherry pick and posting some snark aimed at that one sentence.
I'm thanking the staff too, for cultivating just such a community, because it is something which must be intentionally cultivated. I did the same thing in my blue collar trade server, because accuracy is what matters in these technical communities, not how politely you can slather praise onto your favorite dev.
So yeah. Thanks for your maturity, everyone. Thanks for actually being able to handle mild criticism or pointing out mistakes without losing your damn mind. And thank you staff for not allowing that mentality to fester here.
