Can I recover my blueprints?

I can't believe this just happened

The game defaults to "My Blueprints" as a place to save them and not "Game Blueprints". Ive used this since day 1 of playing, over 1,000 hours played

I downloaded someone's save game to see their base

I pressed B to open My Blueprints and accidentally ctrl+clicked which moved all of my individual blueprints to the player inventory (but not blueprint books)

After checking the saved game, I then exited the player map without saving, thinking the blueprints will go back to the library

After loading my save the blueprints are gone

I panic and close the game, then re-open it and check my blueprints library again, nothing

I close the game again, and then GPT to see how to restore them

It mentions blueprint-storage-2.dat is the backup. Great - I rename it to blueprint-storage.dat and load the game

The blueprints are not there

blueprint-storage-2.dat was created after I "deleted" my blueprints, so it backed up a mostly deleted blueprint library

So now they are permanently gone, zero backups to recover, no blueprint history, nothing

Is there no way to recover them? Are they not saved in game files anywhere?

Thank you so much! That saved them

I wish Factorio had a built-in blueprint history backup database 👀
