[0.11.22] Memory Hog zooming out/moving in Map Editor

As the subject says Factorio is tanking using all 32GB RAM and stays like that until I can manage to task kill or restart my PC (Faster)

This is either full zoomed out, or moving at fully zoomed out.
I can provide more system data if needed.

What I had planned, 1000x1000 area of sand/no trees. with a starting area with tiny Node of Iron/Copper/Coal/Stone/Trees/Water
Essentially guarenteeing an OK start for any new map I make while allowing the map generator to take over afterwards.

Typically, you'd be asked to provide the game log and map gen. settings or gen. string...

I've not had this problem yet on ether my 32bit laptop or 64bit desktop - both windows 7

Yes, the log would be welcome as I was not able to reproduce it.

I had a quick hunt around and couldn't find the log. What location should I be looking in?
Installed with exe on Windows 8

It is in the application directory.

Did you just use new random map?

Yes. I beef up the Tiles tool to 600 and square for a Grass area.
Then beef up the Entities tool to 600 to remove loose rocks/trees.
And remove the ores in the cleared area
Finally pop down some starting resources.
Moving around zoomed out works sometimes, but 3/4 times it'll just bog down.

The only Log I get doesn't seem to provide any further information after "Factorio Initialised"
Is there a debug logging option?
I could record a mini video of it?

Current Log
