[2.0.69] Massive UPS drop with Tesla Turrets on Gleba

What did you do?

After surrendering my Artillery in favour of allowing the Pentapods to exist and slurp up the Spores before they bloat the filesize too high I set up a perimeter wall of Tesla Turrets for my Gleba Base.

What happened?

Whenever the Pentapods attack, there is an enormous UPS drop. It is not usually noticable when running at 60UPS, but when running at higher UPS it is extremely appparent as the base can drop from 400+UPS down to below 60 UPS.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

The game appears to be made to run fine at 60 UPS but such a massive dip from small attack waves seems odd to me.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

This has happened constantly after setting up my Tesla wall.

It is worth noting that I am running on Deathworld Settings edited to make Gleba's enemies and bases sliders 200%. I have also added a speed upp mod to demonstrate the UPS impact.

Attached is a save demonstrating this. Pan to the West of the base where there are many attacks and observe the UPS drops when running at ~10x speed.

Thanks for the report however I'm not seeing any bug here. Gleba enemies spawn smaller versions when they die which themselves spawn particles when they die, the result is when this many attack at the same time and are killed all at the same time they make many short-lived particles.

It would be nice if particles that exist solely to increase graphical fidelity be moved out of game state.
