Loss of fluid ingredients when pasting/shift-applying recipe

When an assembler that has a recipe that takes a liquid ingredient is connected to the correct pipeline, it takes some liquid out of it.
Removing that assembler pushes the liquid back into the pipeline, same if you open the assembler and manually change the recipe.
Shift clicking or pasting over such an assembler to apply another recipe voids the liquid ingredient instead of pushing it out.
I think it should push the liquid out as well, whenever possible.
