[2.0.69] Dragging a belt across underground belt blueprint can overwrite adjacent splitter

I put down a splitter blueprint and started assembling it by hand using the ghost blocks as an aid. At one point, dragging belts across a short underground belt resulted in a splitter I had already placed being built over with a belt. I would expect the splitter to stay put, since not having the ghosts there did not remove the splitter. This always happens, so long as the underground belt ghosts are there... at least in the setup I made. Maybe there are some setups where it doesn't happen, I didn't test much beyond this.
This is the setup used, and is in the sandbox save file attached as well.
