As seen from this video, when shooting a machine gun while wearing mech armor makes the muzzle flash float in mid-air.

I would expect that the flash would come out of, for example, the gun attachment instead of its crotch.

Thanks for the report however I don't believe we will be changing this. The muzzle flash logic simply has no way to handle the non-centered shooting of the mech armor and so the option was leave it as is, or have no flash at all. It was decided to leave it as is.
