Turret range is barely visible when building new one

TL;DR
Make turret range easier to distinguish from other overlays when building.
What?
Sometimes it's hard to see how far newly-placed turret will reach.

Possible solutions I would accept:
1. Make range of the turret-you're-building less transparent.
2. Add solid black border to the range for actively placed turret - kinda similar to what some high-contrast websites offer?
3. Add an option to disable feature introduced in 2.0.48 viewtopic.php?t=116572
Why?
Maybe I am missing better quality eyes, but...

Turret range is too subtle when building new turret. When you try to build new turret where there is a lot of existing turrets you basically cannot see how far it would reach on Nauvis (and Gleba?). Combine that with remote view and roboports overlay you are even more screwed.

Guess how far new rocket turret will reach:

For comparison: it's not a problem on ships. I guess it's because there's plain black background and no roboports?

I agree, it's specially a problem when building at night. I wish it had a dashed outline similar to what the roboport connections look like

That would be nice. I had to make some defenses on the empty land then copy paste that on ship cause bigger range turrets were obscuring gun ones.

Some kind of contrasting lines around the edges of the range of the turret you're placing would be great.
