Bots: automatical side job, press button due to fps/ups (maybe)

As we have alt and all the other buttons, i suggest a new one. This new one essentially tells the bots to do what different mods do....: clear up the map. And hopefully concrete.. so 2 buttons?

There are many mods who do exactly what i will write here so i don't get why they are not in the main game by default. I assume it's due to fps/ups as well as having avalable bots vs you needs bots but they are not avalable. This is why I suggest this "automation" to only happen when we press the button. Funny enough, personal roboport is exactly what I mean. It's active? the bots do all the stuff, it's not active? they won't touch anything so you can use them for other stuff (exemple, don't clear trees since you want to hope on a train do repair turrents there)

So, assuming the whole issues is solved via button to activate and deactivate, here is what happens if it's activated

- all miners who are empty will automatically removed by bots
- trees, rocks, anything including vulcanus, gleba, and mod enemy remains, will be removed.
- a tricky one: fulgora's ruins and such <- might need it's own tick box in options, then again, each palnet will have it's own activate button so just don't activate it on fulgora if it's not save??
- IF landfill exist: will landfill area <- ticik box in option needed for this to not/to happen. As an exemple, you growth trees on Nauvis = don't want soil to be covered (but seriosly, this is not an argument against this suggestion since for trees, just plant them in a separate/isolated network)
- IF concrete/refine exist, will cover areas that aren't <- copy paste from above and the mod that does this concrete relux (sorry, i forgot the corrrect name) is actually the best exemple since it allows you to configure when the bots to do this.
- Copy paste for all the other land filling types. And again, a tick box if or not this to be actually done. Like a tick box for gleba's collored land, to be automatically covered with respective land.
- and of course, cliff destroying
- NEW deconstruction and constructio: LOW priority. This means the bots will only ever de/construct IF all the other task are done, you activated this button, and there are free bots. To rewrite: if you are on planets like Aquilo, you don't want your bots to fly around, used up the electricity and cause black out. However you also want to start working on your factory. A LOW priority build (or deconstruction?) means that the bots won't move (won't use electricity) unless you are sure that it's safe to do so. And when you are, you'll activate that button and then only will the bots be active (in a nutshell it's like removing the roboport, without actully doing so). Another exemple is you build a "moving wall". The turrent (whatever they are) will attack the enemy. Like flames. So the bots might get destroyed in the crossfire. However, even if you did the low priority build, one deactivation and the bots will leave the area untill you reactivate (safe). And revers, you build something but that area is being attacked by enemy (Demolisher VS turrents is a good exemple) so you want the bots to not get destroyed..... BTW, demolisher's attack patter needs to be redone.... it's so easy to just put one pipe and another one far enough, and the demolisher will just go in circles since by the time it destroy one pipe, the other pipe was rebuild, creating an unending circle... so no, this priority ideea is not OP vs demolisher, demolishers's behevour is the one that needs to have a priority set (like pipes and other stuff will trigger the demolisher, but just like bitters, it won't go for the pipe, towers, or whatever, but for anything that actually moves (working buildings, bots, trains, spiders, tanks, and of course, the player HOWEVER, the closes....since demolisher chasing spider that follows a train is another infinite loop, but if the base is closer, it will go for the buildings.... ah yes, maybe a timer? if it just chase and chase, it will do a special howl that will attrack all demolisher so mutiple of them will attack = people will think twice before playing on messing with the demolisher)
- 3rd suggestion: construction bots to only use landfill, concrete, so one, if they are placed in the buffer chest (green box?). For 2 reasons: this means, that if options, this is activated, bots won't touch concrete and similar (meaning they are avalable as materials) so you have full control what get used and what not. Secondly: this will make the logistic bots help out. Like insted of the construction bots flying all the way from one end to the other ON top of also spending time to clear out the area, the logistic bots will handle the briging the materials, and the construction bots will work faster like since, since as they build something, then they remove stuff, and repeat, saving time since they don't need to go from one end to another (but of course, this can also be done via a train + buffer chest at destination)

And to finish up: Space age expansion is unfinished. Aquilo needs a way to get any freeze. Fulgora is just death, empty. Gleba needs ice as well as new ores, aka do more fruid varaities. Vulcanus.... is actually a good exemple of a good planet. Only local landfill is needed. And Nauvis? it was more or less not changed... i mean, i get it, there is not much more, still... nothing exclusive to it? And no, i'm not talking about research but the enviroment and as a planet. Like quality bitters, new enemies, new terrain type, new enviroment effect, like can you imagen if winder comes to Nauvis and everything freezes? yeah... i can't... now that i said this, actually it's better without it. I only wrote this as an exemple what I mean, that as an enviroment, no new stuff despite the expansion. Anyways, thanks for the devs for everything. I think I speak for many people that we would love a 2nd expansion, adressing this issues, as well as new planets and more. Also, no, don't make it a stand alone. If someone want to play this 2nd expansion, just add a warning that they need space age DLC for this 2nd expansion to work. So please don't complicate your and everyone lives by making them separate on their own when myself, as well as other who want a 2nd expansion, own space age, and that is exactly why we want a 2nd expansion. Thoes who want a stand alone means they are saying: oh i don't want space age, but i want the 2nd expansion that also happens in space..... i hope this explained itself why i said to not make it separatly, and just add a warning that space age dlc is needed

What you described is just a tonload of options never needed by new players.

2 deconstruction planners. Done.

Are you kidding

Vulcanus is the “rotten egg” of an otherwise really good expansion. All the other new planets are solid, and completely accomplish the task of expanding on the vanilla gameplay. You know, because it’s an “expansion”. They’re not perfect, nothing is, but they set a high quality standard. Which Vulcanus then completely fails to meet. No new gameplay, poor balancing, just one issue on top of another. Its gameplay is more vanilla than the literal vanilla planet, how does it manage to do the complete opposite of what it was supposed to? And its balance is so bad that it severely affects the rest of the game. Every discussion on every topic is infected with “durr just do it on Vulcanus”, and the worst thing is that people who say that are usually correct. Vulcanus is so bad that it makes everything around itself worse.

I guess it’s important to remember that everyone can make mistakes, even Wube. But I can’t help but be surprised that they made a planet-sized mistake.

This was so provocative, I won't manage to not go offtopic here :D
It is literally the best part of the expansion, directly after the QoL stuff.

You’re right to remind me that I did in fact go quite off topic. I think I got a little carried away typing all of that into the reply section of a random post about something entirely different

But even if I regret writing it here, in the wrong place, I still stand by it completely

Vulcanus is so close to being good. If something like fluid throughput could be the challenge of Vulcanus it would be great.
