[2.0.60] Crash saving of specific saves (ElectricSubNetwork::save)

Current Behavior: Autosave and Save both crash the game every time
Expected Result: Autosave and Save both save the game and I can continue playing as normal

Steps to Repeat:
1) Load Autosave1, Autosave2, or Autosave3 (attached)
2) Save the Game
OR
3) Wait until Autosave tries to save the game
Result: Current Behavior as described

Description:
I went to bed the night before with the game running, and, when I continued playing the next day, the game crashed on its first autosave. Attempts to manually save after loading the latest 3 autosaves all encountered similar errors.

Seeing other articles, I attempted to clear my saves and change the directory before re-opening them, but the behavior persisted.

It appears that the game save itself may have an issue, but I'm uncertain how the autosaves saved correctly in the first place, then.

Earlier saves from several hours before appear to work correctly, which suggests the error is specific to my latest autosaves. I've uploaded the latest three that all exhibit the same behavior, as well as one from earlier that does not.

Any assistance would be appreciated! I'd rather not lose a whole day's worth of builds, but I can certainly reinforce my defensive line more, too. :)

(Also, if anyone has any tips about the defensive line, I'd appreciate that, too!)

I noticed the post got updated to include the ElectricSubNetwork in the title, due to the error in the log file (I presume).

That said, is there a specific section of my electric network that is causing the problem? If so, I can delete that section of it, just so I can keep building the rest of the factory out.

I've deleted a few subsections just as a test in one of the saves, but it still reproduces. Additions to the network that didn't exist in the previous saves include a uranium mine and an oil field I hooked up.

I'm a bit surprised the electric grid is the source of the problems. I can't imagine I have that complex of a layout, I've seen far more complex networks in other people's videos.

You could try if deleting all additions of the last few hours in editor mode fixes it. If not you would have to wait for a dev to take a look.

Fascinatingly, I just learned about the Map Editor, and when I tried to convert the Save into something that I could edit, it ALSO crashed Factorio! I'm intensely curious as to what I did that could cause this behavior...

It can load fine, it can play fine, but you can't save in the map and you can't convert it for use in the Map Editor, either!

I've attached the new log file for the crashed Map Editor, too. Hopefully the devs find something interesting here! I have no mods or tweaks or anything else (aside from what Steam installs automatically as a part of Factorio+Space Age), so I'm dying to know what I did that broke this game. It's been so robust so far!

I've gotten to Fulgora and completed the initial wall, while trying to create new connections rather than use the previous loop design for the electric network. So far, the issue has not reproduced, but I would still like to know what caused it in the first place.

To confirm, the game still crashes with both of these saves, both in regular play and the Map Editor.

The save files are corrupt and there's garbage data in the electric network. There's nothing that can be done with those saves on your end to fix them. You'll have to load a different save file to continue playing.

The only known way this has happened has been memory corruption either due to failing hardware (bad RAM, bad CPU), or bad overclocking. That is, unless you know of a way to take a known good save file and get it into this broken state.
