More trains, even if via paid DLC

Sorry, I have no idea how to make this real. It's just a concept. The scale would require crowdfunding or making it a paid DLC. This is also to avoid raising the base game price, and only those who want it would need to pay. Since this is really just adding more trains to Factorio, nothing else. In a way, making Factorio the best Train game
If you've used this mod: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/yi_railway
And you love trains,
You’ll understand how amazing it is to see all the trains—even if they’re slower than vanilla. The feel of watching a train go 100 km/h with many wagons is far more satisfying than a 300 km/h train that flies by in a flash. And I assume only train lovers will get that.
However, the mod has issues.
First, I see no dev activity—maybe I’m missing it.
Second, the small wagons are poorly programmed. In the base game, each wagon has six accessible tiles for loading/unloading, separated by one gap between wagons or engine. So it’s 6 – 1 – 6 – 1 – 6.
But in the mod, it's 4 – 2 – 3 – 2 – 4. Those extra gaps break the designs and different wagon size slow down load/unload speed.
There are also visual bugs.
Some wheels are missing, or don’t spin.
No diagonal sprites—just horizontal ones even when going up/down ramps.
Trains don’t appear visually connected.
Clearly, this is a big workload. I don’t see anyone doing it for free. That’s why I suggest crowdfunding or a paid DLC. Paid to justify the effort, and optional so non-train players aren’t affected.
And to be clear—I don’t mean just a skin pack like many games do. I mean new trains, new wagons, more content that will make Factorio essentially a Train game but more fun then any other train game since it's not about making money (company and/or Tycoon) but automation.
From slow, scenic trains, to high-speed ones. Wagons with small storage so you build longer, more visually appealing trains.
And new station types with loaders/unloaders that work while the train moves slowly past a single load point. This allows ultra-long trains without needing ultra-long stations.
Also, new types of trains:
For example, a one-wagon, two-locomotive setup that acts as a single unit. You fuel one end? Both get fueled automatically. No more fuel micromanagement or issues with fueling stations designed for dual-loco setups. And of course, this means it can go both ways, making it perfect for set ups where you only need a small amount of material = don't need a long train.
All of this would add to the game’s feel, complexity, and aesthetics—definitely worthy of a paid DLC. But I can not see anyone ever adding this as a mod without it being at least a crowdfunding
