i was updating some mods and i ran out of disk space. i want to remove the temp files of the mods that were downloading.

In the write-data\temp directory. By default for windows-steam the write-data directory is %appdata%\Factorio\

See: https://wiki.factorio.com/Application_directory where the wiki uses the term "user data" in place of "write-data"
