[2.0.55] Crash on Autosave when entering and driving vehicle

when i hopped into my car and started driving, i guess the autosave was prepparing to run. the screen froze for a few seconds then i saw the autosave bar pop up, fill to maybe 20% and then the screen flashed black and my desktop appeared. i added all of my save files for this game, including the corrupted .tmp save file and both current and previous logs

Thanks for the report however the logs don't show any crash. Based off what you're describing it sounds like something went wrong with the graphics driver and the Factorio process got killed as a side effect.
Are you able to reproduce this?

i am not able to reproduce this, no. if its not a bug, excellent. i would have been more shocked if it were an actual bug. thank you for your time!
