I just changed my username on factorio.com/profile, but now when I join a multiplayer server I join as a new player. Also, when I join a single player game (that I have saved from a multiplayer server hosted by my friend) I spawn as my friend's player. How can I fix this and get my stuff back?

For multiplayer you would have to change your name back, for a singleplayer save you can use the command /swap-players followed by your old name.

So that means I would have to wait another 3 months to change my username back?

edit: trying /swap-players [old-username]:

/p will list all characters on that save, use tab to autocomplete when swapping so you do not misspell, if you are not listed then your character does not exist on it.

As for the multiplayer server, I will have to get admin somehow. If there is a way to do it without having to get admin enlighten me :/
