Status of 2.1?

Im just curious if there were any news on forums or elsewhere how the status for 2.1 is? In last FFF they mentioned it will be worked on when all bugs are fixed and that they are expecting to need at least 2 months for it. Well, now we are half a year later. Im just interested in those QoL improvements I have read about some months ago like circuit network stuff or train schedules improvements.

... and all the bugs are not yet fixed. Once they are, start your two-month timer.

Quote from FFF:
"We will continue clearing the bug reports until even the smallest things are sorted out, or tiny things discarded, which will take around 2 months at least.
Once this phase is done, we want to start preparing the last major release (for the foreseeable future at least) for Factorio: 2.1"

Hello Cpt. Obvious,
my question was not if all bugs are already fixed. My question was if there are some news about the status of bug fixing and 2.1 as Wube expected themselves to be done with bug fixing after 2 months. So.... after 6 months, I guess its eligible to ask about a status update.

Same here, would also be very interested in any news.
To be honest, I am amazed how few info I find on 2.1 anywhere online, theres this forum thread and one on reddit, thats about it seemingly ^^°
(hopeing for 2.1 rework on circuit networks, possibly allowing me to more easily read contents of asteroid collectors AND set filters over multiple collectors without individual comparators per collector)

I strongly suspect 2.1 is going to bring much more than what was originally said in the last FFF about it based on the amount of time they've spent on it so far. The more time they take, the bigger/better its going to be.

I keep my expectations low. In the end, it's always better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

2.0.65 was just released; you have to wait at least another 35 versions for them to count to 100 - then the version counter will automatically roll over to 2.1.00!
This is a Joke.
Please do not pester the Devs for updates; they will release the next Version when it is Ready!

Well maybe they are trying to be efficient with memory and storing the version in a short. We still have 2 bits that we don't know where they are, so who knows when it will roll over?
This is also a Joke.

They're too busy playing Factorio. 2.1 is delayed to next year.

This reply is not a joke
Watching the
Active Topics is a hobby of mine to see what is “new” in Bug Reports. Over the past 2 weeks I have noticed that there are a lot of “old posts” being replied-to by Staff members, particularly in the Ideas & Suggestions forum. It is also approaching the 1 year anniversary of Space Age release (October 21). While I am not trying to build any additional Hype, I am hopeful for a surprise in the next month or three.
