I am using a tank equipped with Explosive Uranium Shells, Max speed upgrade, and Level 7 damage upgrade. I am fighting a SMALL demolisher, was able to hit it 15-25 times, depending on the run, with literally NO effect. I have tried multiple different demolishers, with the same result. Hovering the mouse over the demolisher the entire time, they take absolutely no damage, its health doesn't change.

They have a high resistance to explosive damage. Your should use regular, non explosive, cannon shells. And invest in physical projectile damage upgrades via research if you haven't already.
