[2.0.54] Gleba terrain flicker

Zooming all the way out on Gleba causes terrain flicker, which only occurs when the "occlude light sprites" option is enabled.
I originally encountered this on [2.0.47], and then updated to experimental, and reproduced the error. zooming in even partially eliminated the effect entirely, and decorative terrain options do not affect the result, nor do terrain effects.
These screenshots show the F4 for detail, and gpu time respectively. I have attached a short recording of the error, which appears especially prominent on the left side of the screen. And the logfile is attached below.
