[2.0.47] Asteriod not beeing grabed consistently

Ran out of fuel with my ship. for some reason the ships where only able to grab about half the asteriods passing by until filtered for that explicit asteriod type.
Same behavior for the next 3 of 6 asteriods or so. I encoutered that bug from time to time before. it's been around for a long time possibly

This most likely belongs to a chain of duplicates same as 128614.

I see that this is an optimization, but it's pretty bad for ships that are being speed-controlled. For example, most of my ships have a natural speed oscillation by design. I want to save fuel, and to hit a sweet spot, I only produce fuel when falling below a certain speed. Therefore, the velocity is naturally unstable. This also becomes a problem at the halfway point of the trip, where gravity shifts direction and all ships become 20 km/s faster.
Ships that run out of fuel seem to suffer from this behavior a lot. They come to a stop and won’t collect any asteroids. When they finally do collect some, they accelerate, which changes their speed again, causing them to stop collecting asteroids once more. As a result, they run out of fuel again.

Maybe, there is a better solution to this problem? It certainly appears unintended to the player
